Think about it ...
Use the questions below to personally journal and think about the message this week. If you are in a small group, use them as your discussion questions.
1. Why do we have a hard time believing what God promises us in His Word? How are we similar to or different from the followers of Jesus in this passage?
2. Jesus explained their confusion using God’s Word. What does this teach us on how we should explain spiritual confusion to others?
3. “It is the 3rd day….” The followers of Jesus said this as if too much time had passed. What does this teach us about God’s timing?
4. What does the resurrection mean to you?
5. Where are the places you especially need the power of God to be at work in your life?
6. Individually or as a group, take some time to look back on your Lenten experience. Where have you grown the most from it spiritually and how will your life be different going forward?
What am I going to do about it?
1. Based on what you heard in the message, read or journaled, what are some of the key lessons you learned?
2. List one or two ways you can specifically apply them in your life.
3. Write a prayer of thanks for the lessons learned or ask Jesus to help you follow Him more closely in the ways you were challenged this week.
