Four Ways To Give a Cup of Cheer by Showing God’s Love

BE KIND

“When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy, He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.” Titus 3:4-5

“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable…” 1 Cor. 13:4-5a

BE FORGIVING

“Love keeps no record of being wronged.” 1 Cor. 13:5b

WHO DO YOU NEED TO FORGIVE?

“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Col. 3:13

3.BE GENEROUS

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35b

“And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded.” Matt. 10:42

4. BE OPEN

“You are the light of the world – like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:14-16
