There will be 3 major oppositions you face.

· Internal: through your own inner weakness, independence, self-reliance, pride, rebellion etc(all covered by the term sin)

· External. The influence of a secular culture. Opposition , hurt , pain, betrayal will be experienced from others who have CHOSEN not to follow God’s way of love.

· External: An unseen spiritual enemy who seeks to steal, kill and destroy.

Knowledge of his name

What does that mean?

The name was special and significant. It represents the character and nature of the person. The name stands for all that God is, what He is like. And the key is knowledge of Him. Not intellectual but experiential. What must our response be? Hold on to him! Hold fast to him. Hold on to him for dear life. That’s trust. That’s faith.

Christianity and Cancer

Former Blue Peter host and Sky Sport presenter Simon Thomas tells Songs of Praise's Sean Featcher about the deep Christian faith he and his late wife Gemma shared, why he promised her that he would not give upon his faith, knowing that it would be the biggest test he would ever have and how his faith has given him strength to sustain it.
He says the song that has inspired him has to be the uplifting ‘In Christ Alone’.

We are pleased to welcome new children and their families to Vine Church Children’s Gangs.

Our children’s Gangs are for all children from age 1 to those in Primary 7. Our Gang’s operate during the message part of the service and we enjoy bible stories, games, toys, craft, prayer, worship, snacks and lots of fun together.

Stronger is a night for the men of the Vine Church to come together.
Life for men can be tough and there are many challenges. Life can feel sometimes like climbing a very high mountain that can be tiring and never ending.

But you were not designed to climb your mountain alone. Climbing alone is dangerous and lonely. To successfully climb higher you need endurance, the right tools and companions.

At Stronger, we will grow stronger together as we grow, learn and share together.
