Matthew 2:10-11 (NLT) - 10 When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! 11 They entered the house and saw the child with His mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped Him.

Then they opened their treasure chests and gave Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”

What can I give to God that He doesn’t already have?
My Sin
1) He wants to give salvation.

A gift for your past.
Ephesians 2:8 - God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
2) He wants to give peace of mind.

A gift for my present.
Guilt

Grief

Grudges
John 14:27 – “I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
3) He wants to give eternal life.

A gift for my future.
Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.”
