Making a Resting Place for God!
Isaiah 66:1-2 NASB1995
What does it mean to make a resting place for God?
1. To worship Him in Spirit & in Truth (John 4:23)
2. To desire God’s presence for who He is, not merely what He can do for you

Some of the ways in which we express vulnerability to God
Standing, Clapping, Raising hands, Kneeling, Singing loudly, Shouting praise, Dancing, Weeping, Repenting

1. There are times for sacrificial giving, serving, and ministering to one another. There are richer times, however, of simply sitting at Jesus feet & gazing on Him. (Luke 10.38-41)

4. Wherever there is the sacrifice of pure worship there will always be 2 manifestations:
-A richness of God’s manifest presence: God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22.3)
-A demonic voice of religious respectability: “For this ointment could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor.” (Mark 14.5)
5. When authentic worship of God takes place God draws near, and wherever His presence manifests there is freedom!
