What’s the craziest lie you heard someone tell?

Whoa. It’s tough to get your reputation back once you tell a lot of lies, but with God’s help and a lot of good choices, you can build trust up again! Our Bible verse reminds us to stop lying before we even start. Say it with me

If you want Jesus to be your leader, tell your small group leader and let your family know! I’m gonna pray for you guys. Bow your heads!

God, please remind us to choose the truth instead of lying. Thank You for helping us to be honest when we turn to You. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen!

3. In the Bible story, two people died when they lied, but our bodies don’t usually die when we lie. What do you think does die when we lie?

4. Once you tell lies, what do you think can help people trust you again?

1. Share the name of someone you’ve lied to and you need to apologize to.

2. Think of a lie you tell a lot. Tell your group what it is and ask them to pray God helps you quit telling that lie.
