Kid Connection Summer Recruiting

Kid Connection is building a team of adults and teens who will have fun with kids and point them toward Christ for 12 quick weeks this summer! We have kids of all ages with all sorts of needs, so there’s a wide variety of available roles - not just classroom teachers! Preparation time during the week is minimal, and the needed supplies are prepared for you!Serving in Kid Connection gives you an opportunity to disciple a new generation of believers, and have a lot of fun doing it! Nursery Move

The Nursery is moving! As of June 2, the nursery will be located on the first floor. Help us update our space by donating new or gently used baby swings, board books, puzzles, tag blankets, or teething toys (new only). Please drop off donations at the Nursery desk by May 26. Lost and Found

The Lost & Found is overflowing! Small items are in the closet by the east Welcome Center, and clothing items are down the hallway on the east side of the auditorium. Items left after May 26 will be donated.
ONE Service - May 26

On May 26 we will have ONE service only, at 10:45 am. The nursery will be open for children 2 and under. All other Kid Connection, Student Ministries, and Adult groups do not meet.

Diaper Drive

1 in 3 mothers struggles to provide clean diapers for their children. Bring wipes and diapers of all sizes to the lobby between May 12-26 to support Bethany Christian Services and their ministry to new mothers.
Lou Ann Muelheisen Retirement Reception

College/Young Adults Summer Kick Off BBQ

If you're a college student or a young adult, and you like bbqs, you're in luck! We're holding a summer kick-off event on June 3 at 5 pm, and you're invited - bring your friends and join us on the 110 patio for an evening of fellowship!

Mission Community Lunch

Join Outreach Ministries on June 9 to welcome two recipients of Take
Back Black Friday (formerly Advent Conspiracy) funding: Vitaly Petrov, president of Trinity Video Seminary (TVS), and Lynn Peters, SIM missionary, who will share how the generous Take Back Black Friday offering they received enabled significant growth in their respective programs. Reservations for the luncheon are requested, but not required. A suggested donation of $5 per person helps to cover the expenses of the luncheon and support the travel of the incoming missionaries. Ironton Sign-Ups

Ironton sign-ups are open! Join us for this (sort of) local mission trip and spend a week (June 30-July 6) being the hands and feet of Jesus to one of the poorest counties in Missouri.

Kanakuk KampOut!

KampOut! is a 1-week high energy, non-stop excitement, traveling Christian day camp experience from Kanakuk for children ages 5-12. KampOut! will be at First Free 2 weeks, July 15-19 and 22-26! Every KampOut! Kamper will see and hear that God is a loving Father and wonderful Creator who loves them and desires for us to love others. Our counselors have been hand-picked for their Christ-like patience and sensitivity, and they are committed to creatively share the importance of a life lived for Jesus Christ!

Israel 2020

Our 2019 trip to Israel was amazing! We visited the Sea of Galilee, explored the ruins of Herod’s mountain palace in Masada, walked on the Mount of Olives, floated in the Dead Sea, and walked in the old city of Jerusalem where Jesus gave His life for us. Due to the incredibly high response from this trip and the number of people who wanted to go but could not this year, we’re considering another trip in the spring of 2020.If you are interested in joining us, please let us know at efree.org/israel.

Care Team Counseling

Life often includes challenges that are too big to face alone. Our lay Care Team Counselors are trained to walk alongside and assist people who are in need of hope, care, and direction. Counselors are available by appointment every Wednesday evening - email care@efree.org.

Women's Worship and Prayer

Our monthly women's worship and prayer gathering meets on the 1st Saturday of each month. We meet in Room 341 from 8:30 - 10:00 am, and we provide the coffee! Join us for time spent with the Lord and your sisters in Christ.
Carman Trails Partnership Backpack Program
Expand
We are partnering with Carman Trails school to help support some of their students who face food insecurity. To help, please bring non-perishable, shelf-stable items (not canned, because of weight) to the hampers at the entrances to the building. Suggested items include fruit cups, prepared pasta meals, chicken/tuna packets, etc. Thank you for your generosity!
