Jesus entrust his greatest love, the church, to godly leaders called elders or pastors

Elders are a group of qualified men who hold an official office given to lead, feed, and protect the church.

Elders are nobodies that God empowers to lead his church.

There is no one in the church under greater spiritual attack than the Elders of the church.

While the elders wife does not hold official office, her job is then to minister to him as an agent of Christ, bind up his wounds, and send him back out to the field.

Christians are not individuals on their own spiritual journey, but a part of a flock responding to a shepherd.

Elders are responsible for the members, and the members are responsible for holding the elders accountable to Jesus through his word.
