Our perspective of and in stories changes greatly when we see ourselves in it somehow. When we look at Christ and the cross, we must see ourselves to begin to fathom the great love of God. We must see ourselves to recognize the depths of our sin. And, we must see ourselves to understand the gift of life that comes through the cross.
