There is a question that reveals what we believe about scripture's teaching on the ascension.

What are you expecting and anticipating God to do in, through and for you? Faith is the assurance of things hoped for.

Before you know Christ, you expect little.
After you know Christ, there are all kinds of things that can happen in our lives that affect what we expect and anticipate...
trials and hardships, unanswered prayer, wrong thinking, lack of mission, bad theology. All of these blind us to the truth of Jesus' ascension to the position of King of the universe.

If Jesus is King, we should expect Him to show up!!!
