Small Pox and the Conquest of Mexico

In 1517 the Spanish conquistadors, led by Hernán Cortés, arrived in the capital of the Aztec Empire. The path towards peace requires the Holy Spirit
Personal Reflection / Growth Groups Questions
1. Theologians call it, sanctification. Sanctification is the process of God at work within you, transforming you from 'old, corrupted self' to 'new, righteous and holy, self'. How comfortable are you with trying your best and letting God do the rest?
Next Steps-
1. Memorize Ephesians 4:22, 24 (abridged), "...put off your old self which is being corrupted. And put on the new self, created to be like God in righteousness and holiness."
2. Contemplate the areas in your life where you need to turn away from deceit, anger, unwholesome talk and theft.
3. Cultivate self-control over your anger and try to look for opportunities to affirm and encourage others.
4. Attempt to be your best and allow the Holy Spirit to do the rest.

What's Next?

During this season of pastoral transition, clearly determining the path forward is an essential step for StoneBridge Community Church. What’s Next? will be the primary way that church members, regular attenders, and our broader worshipping community contribute to the discernment process. What’s Next? is a corporate discovery process uniquely developed by Pastor Neal that will help formulate our church’s vision and the next steps towards successfully accomplishing it.
Pastor Neal encourages everyone to register and participate. The more who participate, the clearer the road forward will be.
The last chance to attend What's Next? is Saturday, May 4, 8:30am – noon.
Sign up on the patio after worship service or register online at the link below.  A $10 registration fee pays for materials. What’s Next? will be held at The United Methodist Church in Simi(2394 Erringer Rd, Simi Valley, CA 93065).
