Easter is about life. New life. Everlasting Life.

JESUS has been put on trial
HE has been scourged … whipped to within inches of HIS life.
The governor of that region, Pilate hands JESUS over to be crucified.
Roman soldiers mock JESUS … again.
JESUS is led out to be crucified.
Simon of Cyrene carries the cross
JESUS speaks to the weeping women
They offer JESUS wine with Gall, but HE refuses it.
Pilate puts a sign on JESUS’ cross "JESUS of Nazareth, the King of the Jews."

Bystanders mock HIM
A thief asks JESUS to remember him

JESUS dies!

But 3 days later !!!

A dead man does not call out a friend’s name.
Dead men don’t talk.
A dead man can’t eat … A dead man can’t … you fill in the blank
So that must mean that HE is alive.

HIS heart beats, HIS blood begins to flow
Waking up was dead a moment ago.
And HIS heart beats, now everything is changed
‘Cause the blood that brought us peace with GOD
Is racing through HIS veins and HIS heart beats.

HE breathes in, HIS living lungs expand
The heavy air surrounding death turns to breath again
HE breathes out, HE is word and flesh once more
The Lamb of GOD slain for us is a Lion ready to roar
And HIS glorious heart beats.

#1. The tomb in which JESUS was buried was discovered empty.

#2. JESUS’ disciples had real experiences with the risen CHRIST.

#3. As a result of the preaching of these disciples, which had the resurrection at its center, the Christian church was established and grew.

This church thing … is more than a religion … it is a movement of GOD Almighty among HIS people.

HE lives to constantly intercede for you

Since HE is A live … HE hears the prayers of HIS people.

Since HE is Alive and since you are HIS … HE holds all rights to you.

There is nothing like living the life the Living One is offering.
