1. What happens when you die?
Hebrews 9:27 . . . It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.
2. Why should you choose Jesus?
Revelation 1:18 . . . Jesus said, I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hell and of Death.
3. What is it that you did to deserve judgment?
• Nothing! You were born into sin . . .
Romans 5:12 . . . Therefore, just as through one man—Adam, sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—
4. How can you escape judgement?
• Jesus came to save sinners
1 Timothy 1:15 . . . This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
Romans 5:8 . . . But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
• To qualify for salvation you must be a sinner . . .
Luke 5:31–32 . . . Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
Romans 3:10, 23 . . . As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one. . . 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
5. Can you help me to be saved today? YES!
Romans 10:9–10 . . . that if “YOU” confess with “YOUR” mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in “YOUR” heart that God has raised Him from the dead, “YOU” will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
6. I don’t think I am good enough; God would never forgive me.
• God shows no partiality
Romans 2:11–12 . . . For there is no partiality with God. 12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law
Galatians 2:6 . . . But from those who seemed to be something—whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God shows personal favoritism to no man . . .
Romans 10:11–13 . . . For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner and cannot save myself. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and save me. I believe you died and were raised from the dead to pay for my sins, and I accept you as Lord of my life. Thank you for saving me, please help me now to pursue this new life with you. In Jesus name, amen.
