“Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.” (Psalm 34:11)

✔Accept the Bible as our manual for living.

“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children.

Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)

✔Guard their minds.

“I will set before my eyes no vile thing.” (Psalm 101:3)
2. Stature.
“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me.” (Acts 20:24)

✔Help them discover their purpose.

✔Pray for God’s divine favor on their life.

“For surely, O LORD, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12)

✔Choose relationships carefully.
3. Favor with man.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.” (Philippians 2:3)

✔Honesty.

✔Honor.

✔Respect.
4. Favor with God.

✔Make Jesus the Lord of our home.

“Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

✔Show them my love for God.

“Reverence for the Lord gives a man deep strength; his children have a place of refuge and security.” (Proverbs 14:26 LB)

“Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.” (1 Corinthians 11:1 NKJV)

✔Be like Jesus in every situation.

“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3:13)
