Most marriage matters happen when MY EXPECTATIONS aren't met.
When your expectations are not met in marriage you have a few options:
1. LEAVE
2. GIVE IN
3. COMPROMISE
SUBMIT = I will put my spouse's needs/wants/expectations BEFORE my own.
MUTUAL submission matters in every great marriage.
