It’s important that Christians are intentional and knowledgeable about relationships for they do determine our course in life.
1. Relationships are important to God thus should be important to us and for us:
- Genesis 1:26-28 MSG
- Genesis 2:18 MSG
This entire book is about connections, relationships. The supreme aim in all Christianity is relationship, fellowship with God.
- 1 John 1:3-4 NKJV
NT Greek:
Fellowship- (Koinonia) which is translated as communion, oneness, or camaraderie.
So to fellowship with God is to become one with Him. To have fellowship with one another other is to become one in the faith with them.

2. The 1st 4 chapters of Genesis asks 5 dynamic questions about how we related to God and each other. The enemy has a strategy to separate us from God and one another.
With every attack, there are things you should know:
A. Know God: Genesis 3:1 NKJV; 2 Timothy 3:5-7 TPT
B. Know you: Genesis 3:8-9 NKJV; 1 John 4:19-21 TPT
C. Know your source: Genesis 3:11 KJV; 1 Peter 5:8 KJV
D. Know your what: Genesis 3:13 KJV
E. Know your Who: Genesis 4:9b KJV; Galatians 6:1-5 TPT; Ecclesiastes 4:9 KJV
F. Know why: John 13:34-35 KJV
So that we can better join, link, bridge, unite, combine, fasten, communicate, associate, bind, establish, accompany...connect to one another.
