When we are not at peace...
1. things seem to bother you more than they should.
2. it’s hard to make your mind up about even simple
decisions.
3. impulses to eat, drink, spend or crave will be harder
to resist than they otherwise would.
4. we are more likely to favor short-term gains
that will leave us with long-term costs.
5. our judgment suffers.
6. we have less courage.
1. Create an environment for growth.
Personal Reflection / Growth Group Questions
1. Describe a time you tried to grow something. What kind of environment did you create for it? How well did it grow?
2. Is there something in your life that you have worked at creating an environment for growth and you have seen fruit? For example: Pastor Neal has worked at improving his public speaking through classes, reading and practice. His experience and habits have created an environment where his sermons are more effective now than in the past.
3. Is there an area in your life that needs to see more fruit? What is one way you could improve the environment in order to give it a chance to grow?
2. Jesus practiced acceptance.

4. Jesus added positive instead of just removing negative.
We can have peace. We just can’t have it fast.
We can have serenity. We just can’t have it loud.

Interested in building a house for the homeless and affecting poverty on an international scale? A team from StoneBridge is partnering with Hands of Mercy to build a loft house in Ensenada, Mexico. You can help without traveling further than the StoneBridge parking lot. If you can hammer a nail or manage a paintbrush, you’re qualified! Come when you can and leave when you must. We’re also collecting items to give to the family once the house is built. Please visit the Ministry Table on the patio after worship to sign up to contribute to the family’s care package.
