(Genesis 1:11-12) Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seedbearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.”

And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
(Genesis 1:26-28) Then God said, “Let us make man in Our image, in Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female he created them.

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
(Malachi 2:13-15) And this is the second thing you do: You cover the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping and crying;

so He does not regard the offering anymore, nor receive it with goodwill from your hands. Yet you say, “For what reason?”

Because the Lord has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously;

yet she is your companion and your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring.

Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.
·* Relationships are spiritual.

·* Relationships have lasting impact.

· * Relationship choices are critical.
(Proverbs 27:19 GN) A mirror reflects a man’s face but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses.
1. Am I nurturing important relationships?

(Galatians 5:13-15) Serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.
2. Am I severing harmful relationships?

(1 Corinthians 15:33) Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.
(Proverbs 13:20) He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.
Lazy 2 Thess. 3:6-20; Prov. 12:24

Angry Prov. 22:24-25; Prov. 16:32

Immoral 1 Cor. 5:9-11; Eph. 5:3-7; 1 Cor. 15:53

Greedy Eccl. 5:10-11; Prov. 23:6-7; Prov. 15:27

Unbelieving 2 Cor. 6:14-17; Ps. 53:1; Ps. 1:1
(Proverbs 12:26) A righteous man is cautious in friendships.
(2 Corinthians 6:14) Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
3. Am I initiating meaningful relationships?

(Proverbs 18:24) A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
(John 15:15) I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends.
