Visit Israel December 1-8, 2020 with Pastor Brad & Heidi! Walk where Jesus walked in Jerusalem. Be baptized in the Jordan River. Go out on the Sea of Galilee. If you’re married, renew your marriage vows in Cana. There’s a brochure on the credenza in the lobby with more information or talk to Pastor Brad and Heidi.
Cultivating Prayer: Individually
Often we pray selfish prayers to satisfy our desires. Prayer should be a vehicle, not to get our desires, but to find the heart of God to align ourselves with it. James 4:3 says, “You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.” Who can you focus on for prayer this week?

In Need?
The River Church has a Deacon Team in place to address the needs of people who are in the midst of difficult circumstances. We invite people to contact us, whether for yourself or for another person at the River. If you want to be considered for help by the Deacon Team, it is as simple as sending a message to deaconteam@HitTheRiver.com. The Deacon Team is made up of 3 members: Vicki Chappell, Terry Daviaux, and Doug Lee. All requests are handled with confidentiality. The Deacon Team also helps provide boxes of food and personal hygiene products to people in need whether or not they attend the River Church.
