How does this story from Israel's history help you better understand the concept of "our daily bread"?
The wilderness is a place of transition and testing where God’s people are separated from the life they knew to become more and more that community that reflects Him to the world around them. It’s a time when the people of God must exercise faith, trusting daily in his guidance and provision.
How has God provided for you on your wilderness journey?
Are you more inclined to worry about tomorrow or trust God for today?
What does this passage speak to you about your need and the One who provides?
“As you align your goals with His kingdom goals, He promises to provide everything needed for your life to flourish.”
-Stephen & Alex Kendrick, The Battle Plan for Prayer
When we’re DEPENDENT on God for all our NEEDS, we learn our greatest NEED is HIM.
Why ask God to meet our needs if He already knows our needs and promises to provide for them?
What do you need in your life right now?
How dependent are you on God to meet that need?
How can you profess your dependence on Him today?
Personal reflection this week ...
> When you pray, what do you ask for?

> Write down the ways you have experienced God's provision this week in a journal. This way you can come back to those reminders when you need them most.
