Focus:
As we continue our journey toward unlocking our new identity in Christ, we need to find ways to uncover areas that we haven't fully given over to Christ. Anger can actually be a help in this process. Why do you become angry? Anger is a secondary response. What were you feeling before you responded with anger? Will you allow God to work with you in your anger?

1. What is one thing that stood out to you from this week’s message?
2. What connection have you personally experienced between anger and shame/sin?
3. When anger is first mentioned in the Bible, it’s between two family members. Can you relate? Why do you think we often become most angry with those closest to us?
4. How can anger be used as a gift to recognize areas we need to surrender to God?
5. How can you help others who struggle with anger?
6. How can we encourage each other to respond to what God has for us?
