Why We Need to Hear God's Voice.
Why you need to hear Gods voice? -So Christ can function as your Lord and King! -So you can know God as Father. -So Jesus can be your LIFE! DON'T FORGET: The voice you listen to the most will determine the direction of your life.
1. So God can Function as your LORD
Matthew 11:12 (NIV)
From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.
1 Peter 5:8 (NIV)
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

2. So God can Function as your FATHER

so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven

Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
The heavenly Father ASSURES His children.
The heavenly Father WARNS His children of danger.
The heavenly Father COMFORTS His children.
The heavenly Father COUNSELS His children.

And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
3. So God can be your LIFE
BIOS = physical life
ZOE = spiritual life
