<b>Good Friday - Journey to the Cross</b><br>The River Church wants to invite you to participate in our Good Friday experience, on March 25 here at church, called Journey to the Cross. Journey to the Cross is a contemplative experience that will guide you through what Christ experienced His last days on earth. It is designed to be a time of reflection in order to draw us closer to our Savior and enrich our relationship with Him. Feel free to come at any time between the hours of 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Drop-in childcare will be provided. Invite your neighbors, friends and family for this powerful encounter as you walk the last footsteps of Christ.<br><br><b>War Room Study for Men and Women</b><br>When we come to know Jesus as our Savior and Lord, our journey is only beginning. It can be easy to become wrapped up in our hectic lives and forget our first Love and the subtle Enemy who wants to keep us from God. This study will serve as a reminder that prayer really is a powerful weapon.<br><br>Study will be held on Sunday’s, starting April 3 at 9:45am and will be 6 sessions long. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, The Armor of God study is for you. The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory. <br><br>Join us! Set the date for March 31 to enjoy some chicken at the Voice of America Chick-Fil-A. The Guatemala team will receive 15% of the sales. More information coming soon.<br><br>MarriedPeople at the River Church, along with the Missions team, will be offering a Parent's night out April 9 from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Cost will be $15 for the first child and $5 for each additional child. We will be going through individual lessons as well as answering any questions parents may have. The cost is $35 and covers registration, a rental gun plus air, rental mask, and paint for the day. Discounts are available for students with season passes or have their own equipment.
