(Philippians 3:13-14) “Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do:Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
(Isaiah 43:18-19) – “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing !Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
You are a sum total of the decisions you make.
What one thing, if changed,
would make the biggest difference in my life?
What’s Your One Thing This Year?

> My relationships.

>My debts.

> My health.

> My dreams.
(Philippians 3:13-14) But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
(Psalm 27:4) One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
(Luke 10:38-42) As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him.

She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made.

She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things,

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed.

Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
1. I will make the most of the New Year.

(Ephesians 5:15-16) Be very careful, then, how you live--not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

I will make the decision that 2019
will be the best year of my life
because it’s going to be the
best year spiritually.
2. I will get rid of every distraction.

(Hebrews 12:1) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles,

and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Fasting is simply finding that thing that distracts you most and saying, “Lord, I don’t love it as much as I love You.”

January 7-27, 2019

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting

> Full fast

> Partial fast

> Daniel fast

I’ve made the decision that I’m not going to let anything that will ultimately mean nothing keep me from experiencing what means everything.
3. I will prioritize the presence of Christ in all my life.

(Philippians 3:7-8 NLT) I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done.

Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.

For His sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ.
I’ve made the decision that 2019 will be the best year of my life
because I’m getting closer to Jesus
