Christmas starts in the dark.

When we find ourselves in dark places we tend to do dark things.

We were created to give glory, honor, and worship to God with our lives. A byproduct of that is the Hope He distills in our life when we do.

Shepherds were the lowest group in the social order of the day. They are the ones considered farthest from God.

Shepherds were considered not worthy for God.

Shepherds were always ceremonially unclean.

The shepherds lived in a massive spiritual dilemma.

They were considered not worthy of God…

There is something powerful about a God who will meet you where you are.

God never calls us to stay where we are, he calls us to take the next step.

In the Kingdom of Heaven believing always comes before seeing.
