Strange Parents
Have you ever noticed how Christmas ("the most wonderful time of the year") can tend to be one of the most hectic times of the year? The weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas often seem to fly by…unless, perhaps, you're a student waiting for school break! And not only are we crazy busy, but the Christmas story is just so familiar (and often it's a highly romanticized version, too). Is it any wonder we so easily miss the awe and strangeness of God becoming…human? Join us for the four weeks of Advent as we seek to slow down, quiet our busy hearts and minds, and take a fresh look at the incredibly strange way God chose to save the world by sending Jesus – God in the flesh.

For New Families
• <b>Mother's Room: </b>A private room where you can care for your baby and still listen in on the gathering – north of auditorium (follow signs).<br>• <b>Kids Connect (infant-5th grade): </b>Check-in upstairs from foyer. Kids also welcome in large gatherings; activity bags available in back of auditorium.<br>• <b>Sola (6th-12th grade): </b>Main gatherings Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Garage Café (across Vine St.). Middle school also meets Sundays at 11 a.m. upstairs.
