We can only imagine what an unforgettable experience it was for the shepherds that night in Bethlehem to see the sky filled with angels and hear the announcement of the baby Messiah. Today we focus on that first Christmas through the eyes of a shepherd. You may think you aren't rich enough connected enough, or important enough for God to focus on this Christmas. You may not have a college degree or even have a white collar job. You may be a working guy, paid by the hour, but this message of Christmas is for YOU. He didn't send angels to the synagogue or to their home while they were saying their prayers. He sent the angels out to the country, and gave them the most important news in history in the middle of their night shift. You may expect God to show up and speak to you in church in a quiet moment of reflection as you read the Bible and pray at home, but sometimes He will visit you at your place of business in the middle of your shift. Look for God to communicate with you at unexpected places in unexpected times. You can't work hard enough, pray enough, or do enough good works to deserve God's attention. He loves you and poured out His grace upon you freely when He sent His Son to die for you. Your time will come. Your day of visitation will come. Be ready. No puedes trabajar suficientemente duro, orar suficientemente tiempo, o hacer suficientes buenas obras para merecer la atención de Dios. This December, be ready for God to speak to you, no matter who you are or what you do, in unexpected places, even on the job, during your shift. His message of the birth of Jesus to save you is just as real to us today as it was to the shepherds thousands of years ago. A lo mejor, te va a hablar en medio de tu turno de trabajo, o en otro lugar inesperado. Su ensaje del nacimiento de Cristo para salvarnos tiene la misma importancia hoy que tenía hace dos mil años para los pastores.
