Strange Arrival

Have you ever noticed how Christmas ("the most wonderful time of the year") can tend to be one of the most hectic times of the year? The weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas often seem to fly by…unless, perhaps, you're a student waiting for school break! And not only are we crazy busy, but the Christmas story is just so familiar (and often it's a highly romanticized version, too). Is it any wonder we so easily miss the awe and strangeness of God becoming…human?
