There are people who are looking for the instant fix all the time. They will sit idly by, doing nothing, waiting on the God to do some instant miracle when God didn’t call them to live that way. They go from church to church, minister to minister, devotional to devotional, looking for the words to jump off the page at them that will confirm that God is going fix it, change it, or whatever. Sadly, they are still struggling with the same things, doing the same bad habits, and not changing their life even though they have had a word spoken over them, a promise found in the word, and an experience in the presence of God.
Last week we talked about what we do with a word, either from God by our spirits, from the word that seems to jump off the page, or spoken by someone that encouraged us. THIS WEEK, we want to talk about the change that comes from spending time with God.
1. Not only do you grow closer to God by spending time with God, but you will literally change.

The 120 spoke in tongues that sounded like other’s language, dialect, and accent. Acts 2
THE QUALITY AND AMOUNT OF TIME SPENT WITH GOD DICTATES THE QUALITY AND AMOUNT OF CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE.
