Mending Relationships
If you were told that you had 1 month to live you would have the chance to review the different people that have played a part in your life. What you might see are some broken relationships – now what are you to do about them?

Mending Relationships - Romans 12:18
SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS

1. Growing up were you more of a troublemaker or a peacemaker?

2. Read Mark 12:28-31 *note how important relationships are here.

3. Relationships at times become broken. What does God through scripture say about this? Matt 5:23-24. Eph 4:3. Matt 18:15-17.

4. There are barriers that block us from being the peacemaker that Jesus calls us to from these verses. What are these barriers/fears? Rejection? Conflict?

5. How can trusting Christ help us overcome these barriers/fears?

6. What were the points made from the message on how to put into practice of trying to mend a broken relationship?

7. Quietly in prayer: review your relationships and ask God to show you if there is anyone who may have a grievance against you. Write down their name and set a time to meet with them.
Remember: Make every effort to make peace.

8. Quietly in prayer: list your sins (ways you have failed to love God and others). Ponder how much you have been forgiven. Then write ‘Paid in Full’ across your list.

9. Now make a list of those you need to forgive. Below each name write the sin they did against you. Will you do what Jesus did for you, will you write ‘Paid in Full’ across each name? Please share as honestly as you can with your small group on what you decided here.
Colossians 3:13 (NIV) Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
