Share a time when you expected things to be easy after you made a decision, but then encountered more obstacles than expected.

- How can hardship be a sign we are moving in the right direction?

- How would it change our perspective if we really believed we were not alone?

- What are some whispers of fear that reoccur in people’s minds?

- What is at stake if we give in to fear?

Big Idea

God offers to be with us just as he was with Moses. The journey will likely not be easy, but God will be glorified as we face our fears rather than succumb to them (Romans 5:3-4).

Pray for endurance to walk out a long, slow obedience in the same direction.
