Questions for reflection...
1. Is one kind of “soil” more common in our culture today, and of so, which one? In what way can we share the Word of God that might help people be more receptive to it? How can you change the way you share your faith without changing the message?

2. What part do we play in being good soil for God’s Word? What can we do to grow in holiness and to produce fruit by making disciples?

Wednesday, Nov. 21… Thanksgiving Eve celebration in the MPR. A light meal will be shared at 5:45pm and then the interactive service to follow with singing, sharing and praying together. It will be an opportunity to “thank” God for the many blessings He has given us over the past year! Sunday, Nov. 25… Advent party, 4-8pm in the MPR. Details on the way. There will be food, crafts, advent wreath making and Christmas tree decorating. Plenty of activities for adults, families, youth and children. Sunday evening, Dec. 2… a healing prayer service at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. Come and pray with others who desire to experience the “healing touch” of God. If you desire to be anointed in prayer, you will have an opportunity to experience that as well. There will be music and a space to come and listen to God, meditate on God’s word, and sit in the presence of God. All are welcome! Please remember to pray for... The victims and families affected by the recent shootings in Florida, Pa and California. Our country and our political leaders. Recipients of cancer care backpacks. Those dealing with ongoing health concerns. Ignite a passion to share the "good news" message of Jesus! God to raise up future leaders for the church.
