From now on, you do know him and have seen him!” 8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.” 9 Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?

- I am the bread of life. He who comes to me shall never hunger (John 6:35).

- I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in darkness (John 8:12).

- I am the door. The kingdom of God has one entrance and his name is Jesus (John 10:9).

- I am the true vine. Remain in me and you will produce much fruit (John 15:1).

- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for his sheep (John 10:11).

- I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying (John 11:25).

- I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6).

God revealed himself to Moses because he was sent to rescue the people of Israel. Jesus revealed himself to the disciples because he was sent to rescue all mankind. God reveals himself to us because he wants relationship with us (John 14:6-9).
