~ Online contributions are considered delivered on the date the financial institution pays the amount. To ensure your gift is credited to 2025, your final online donation should be made no later than Monday, December 29.
~ All gifts mailed through the USPS must be postmarked on or before December 31. Envelopes arriving with a postmark of January 1, or later will be credited to 2026.
~ Should you opt to hand-deliver your gift to the office, you must arrive by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30.
To deduct any charitable donation of money on your tax return, the IRS requires that a donor have either a bank record or written communication from Chapel Rock. We will provide those who donated to the church during 2025 a contribution statement in January 2026.

Communion
Chapel Rock practices an 'open communion' meaning that if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are welcome to participate in the communion service. The elder/staff member giving the devotion will provide instructions.
BIG IDEA: Because the King has come near, we can hang our lives on His hope through .
The “forgotten ornament” that we’re looking at today is repentance. Repentance is the ornament, but it hangs on the bough of hope.
STEP 1: BRING DOWN THE ORNAMENTS
STEP 2: OPEN THE BOXES
Notice the order again: Not, “Repent, so maybe the Kingdom will show up.” It’s: “The Kingdom has come near—therefore repent.” Repentance is not us trying to climb a ladder to God. Repentance is us turning around to face the God who has already climbed down to us.
– We turn from sin toward God.
– We turn from my kingdom toward His kingdom.
– We turn from my way toward His way.
Because the King has come near, we can hang our lives on His hope through .
STEP 3: REMEMBER WHAT THE ORNAMENT MEANS
STEP 4: HANG THE ORNAMENT:
A. PERSONAL – HEART-LEVEL REPENTANCE
B. RELATIONAL – REPENTANCE TOWARD PEOPLE
C. KINGDOM PRIORITIES – REPENTANCE FROM CONSUMER CHRISTMAS
“Lord Jesus, because Your Kingdom has come near, where are You inviting me to repent?”
VISION COMMITMENT
We BRING our brokenness to Jesus because a CHANGE to wholeness is the story we SHARE.
