1. "THEREFORE"--Why Resurrection Changes Everything

A. If there's no resurrection, Paul says, then:
- Christ is not raised (v. 23)
- Our preaching is emplty (v. 14)
- Your faith is worthless (v. 14)
- We are false witnesses about God (v. 15)
- You are still in your sins (v. 17)
- Those who died believing in Jesus have perished (v. 18)
- We are of all people most to be pitied (v. 19)
- Christ is not raised (v. 23)

B. Because of this reality, your labor is not in vain.
2. BE STEADFAST - Standing Secure on Resurrection Ground
The Greek word means seated, settled, fixed-like a house built on bedrock. The resurrection of Jesus is that bedrock.

3. BE UNMOVABLE - Rooted Deep When the Storms Come
If "steadfast" is your foundation, "unmovable" is the storm that tests it.

4. ALWAYS ABOUND-The Overflow of Resurrection Security
First security, then service. First the empty tomb, then the full life.

Therefore, Avenue Church, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord-not to earn His favor, but because you already have it. Seventy-five years of your labor-and the next 75-are not in vain in the Lord.
