1A. It would have been easy for the Jewish people to "give up" because they were in a difficult situation and an undesirable place. But God instructed them to not give up and, in fact, to thrive in their new location (and work for its benefit). What are the difficult situations in your life where you need to change your attitude and choose to thrive and be a blessing?
