Christmas Eve Service

Pathways will be celebrating a Candlelight Christmas Eve service on Wednesday, December 24th. Begin now to think of family and friends to invite to this very special service of music and praising God for His glory!

November 11th: Veterans Day
We remember and honor who served our country and gave their lives for freedom. With gratitude for their selfless service, we give thanks. We give thanks for all who are currently serving in our military.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

Long ago God spoke to our ancestors in many and various ways by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom he also created the worlds. He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of God’s very being, and he sustain all things by his powerful word.
Hebrews 1:1-3

Truth—real Truth—can’t be gained solely by knowledge of a book. Book knowledge doesn’t cut it. Real Truth is lived Truth.

Lived Truth is Wisdom. Lived Truth is Jesus, who said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”

Jesus said, “Love God, and love your neighbor, and everybody is your neighbor, even your enemy.” There, do that. No book, including the Bible, can tell you how to do that in every situation you encounter. It points the way, but in some cases, you have to do it the best you can.

And the more you do it, the better you’ll get at doing it. And the better you get, the easier it will get, even when it’s hard.

That’s Wisdom. That’s Lived Truth. That’s Jesus, the Living Truth.
