Sermon Title: Safely Shipwrecked

(Acts 27:1-12)
Lesson: Even when life seems out of control or others make poor decisions that affect you, God’s purpose for your life cannot be stopped. His plans include the storms you didn’t choose.

“You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail.” — Proverbs 19:21

The Storm Reveals What We Truly Depend On (13-20)
Lesson: Storms in life reveal our real source of confidence. When we lose control, we find out whether we’ve been trusting in God — or in our own strength, experience, or resources.

(21-26)
Lesson: When everything around you is shaking, stand on what God has said, not on what you see. God’s Word gives confidence when the future is unclear.

Faith doesn’t always calm the storm immediately, but it calms the person in the storm.

Obedience and Faith Go Hand in Hand (31-44)

Lesson: Faith in God’s promise doesn’t mean doing nothing — it means acting in obedience to what God says.

5. Shipwreck Doesn’t Mean Defeat (Acts 27:41-44)
Lesson: Sometimes God allows things around us to break apart so we can reach the place He’s taking us. What looks like a disaster may actually be the vehicle that delivers you to your destiny.

“But everyone escaped safely to shore.” -Acts 27:44
Life’s storms don’t have to destroy your faith — they can deepen it.

When you trust God’s Word, lead with courage, and obey His direction, you’ll find that even in the wreckage, His purpose still stands.
