Focus Verse - Ephesians 5:8-11. "Split" into two groups. Group one reads verse 8 (out loud together). Group two reads verse 9 (out loud together). Group one reads verse 10. Group two reads verse 11.
** Icebreaker - share about the best water or the worst water that you've ever tasted. **
** Share about a time in the past that you "came clean" on something you were hiding." **
Sean discussed multiple reasons why we should choose to bring our skeletons into the light (rather than continuing to hide them).
We Should Bring Our Skeletons to Light - Because You Reap What You Sow. Read Galatians 6:7-8.
1. When we sow to "please the flesh" and choose to hide our skeletons, what does it look like to "reap destruction" in our time here on Earth?
2. ** When we sow to "please the Spirit" and choose to bring our skeletons to light, what does it look like to "reap eternal life" in our time here on Earth? **
3. Given how different these two paths are, why do we continue to choose to hide our skeletons?

We Should Bring Our Skeletons to Light - Because You Will Be Exposed. Read Numbers 32:23.
4. What are the benefits of admitting to your skeletons, rather than being "found out" by someone else?

We Should Bring Our Skeletons to Light - Because Confession Brings Healing. Read James 5:16.
5. Share a time when you experienced healing through confessing your skeletons to someone?
5. Share a time when you experienced healing through confessing your skeletons to someone?
6. As a group, share how this series has challenged you and what changes you have made or plan to make as a result of it. Is there a skeleton that you want to share with the group?
Guided Prayer (leader, include the following in your prayer time) - "God, we thank you for your light that shines in us to purify us. Give us the strength to expose our skeletons. Help us to live by the Spirit going forward as we walk in your light and your truth. Make us more like Jesus every day. And let us shine ever brighter for you in our community."
Prayer 4U - as we come to the end of pastor appreciation month, spend the week praying for Pastor Sean and Pastor Chris.
