Real faith shows up in real life.
Putting God first always leads to our greatest fulfillment.
Real faith grows when God is at the center.
SMALL GROUP DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
1. Icebreaker: What’s something in your life that you’ve been really focused on lately — maybe school, friends, sports, or a hobby? How does it affect everything else you do or think about?
2. Read James 4:1–3. What does James say causes conflict and frustration in our lives? How do you see that happening among people your age?
3. When you look at your own life, what are some signs that you might be putting yourself (or something else) at the center instead of God?
4. James 4:6–8 says that God gives grace to the humble and draws near to those who draw near to Him. What does it mean to “humble yourself” before God? Why is humility such a big deal to Him?
5. Read 1 Peter 5:6–7. How does trusting God and letting go of control change the way you handle stress, worry, or conflict?
6. Application: What’s one practical step you can take this week to draw closer to God — to re-center your life on Him instead of yourself?
7. Any final thoughts/questions/prayer requests?
