When Paul needed an example of what makes people right with God, he went back to Genesis.
1. God’s Word is One Connected Story (Romans 4:1-5; Genesis 12:1)
a. God’s plan connects people to Himself
b. God connects with people who walk by faith (Genesis 12:1)
c. Righteousness and justification are from the Lord
2. People need Saving (Romans 4:5-8)
a. Wages are earned
b. Righteousness is a gift
c. David’s story (Romans 4:7-8)
d. The next chapter in Abraham’s Story (Genesis 12:10-20)
e. Every person needs saving, and only God can do that
3. A right relationship with God comes by Faith (Romans 4:13-15)
a. Before the Law, under the Law, and today, people need faith
b. God redeems people that know they need saving

d. The entire Word of God points to people whose hope is in Him

Yahweh Warrior Lodge EVENTS
The Yahweh Warrior Lodge, a Northwoods Training Ground, is a Christ-centered residential rehabilitation ministry that assists individuals to overcome life-controlling addiction and brokenness and enter a transformed life in Christ.
#1 NORTHWOODS TRIP: Are you a FATHER? Are you a SON? Wed.-Thurs, Oct 29-30: Join us in the north woods overnight for a workday/campout in Woodruff at the Yahweh Warrior Lodge. (It’s possible to camp indoors at the lodge!). Arrive in Woodruff at 6PM for dinner and return after lunch on Thursday, or join us just for the day on Thursday. We will be building a 3-bin composter for the garden. To find out more about this residential rehabilitation ministry visit YahwehWarriorLodge.org or talk to Robert, (the trumpet player.) #2 PRAY & SAVE THE DATE for the Yahweh Warrior Lodge 1st BANQUET FUNDRAISER, “Journey to Freedom”, Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11, at Faith Church, 9035 Blumenstein Rd, Woodruff. 5:30PM Doors Open 6PM Dinner made with organic and local ingredients 7PM Presentation and multi-church worship, presentation, prize drawing, and dessert
This annual banquet will not only raise critical funds but also invite our community and supporters to join us in this restorative mission. Every contribution moves us closer to welcoming our first residents and launching the life-changing programs that will empower them to embrace healing and renewal. Funds raised through this banquet will go directly toward our core programs and your generosity will help cover essential operating costs, from facility maintenance to staffing, and provide resources for counseling, vocational training, and spiritual development.
The funds raised will not only help launch the lodge but also strengthen its long-term viability. With your partnership, Yahweh Warrior Lodge will be equipped to fulfill its mission and expand its reach, offering help and healing to more men in need well into the future.

WOMEN’S EVENT: “OH CHRISTMAS TREE” CRAFT & SOCIAL: Just in time for your Christmas decorating! At 1PM on Saturday Nov.8th we will be painting and putting the finishing touches on a wooden tree that will be sure to brighten up your indoor or outdoor display. Cost is $20. Contact Sandy: 715-432-6626

There is a donation box for items for those who don’t want to fill up a whole box so feel free to grab items from there if you need one more thing. 3. FALL MINISTRY FAIR: Connect with the various ministries at Bethany, see what is happening in each and learn what their needs are. (Ministry Leaders, check your email soon from Pastor Joe on this topic.)
4. DAYLIGHT SAVINGS: Set your clock back on Sunday, Nov. 2 (Int’l Day of Prayer), to give you an extra hour of Prayer for the Persecuted Church!
DATE CHANGE FOR DAYS FOR GIRLS: Sat. Oct. 25 9:30 AM Days for Girls advances menstrual equity, health, dignity and opportunity for all. We sew shields and put hygiene kits together. This local chapter meets on the lower level. Contact: Susan 715-355-7769

THANKSGIVING SHARING SERVICE, Sunday, Nov. 23, 6PM. Be encouraged together as we hear your stories of thanksgiving and faith. We plan to have an old-fashioned hymn sing with parts! Men- this is your chance to share your pie-baking skills with your church family following this uplifting service!
