God is generous and so He calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Three goals of Our Ministry to the Body of Christ
- The upbuilding of the body of Christ (v.12)
- The unity of faith and the unity of the knowledge of the Son of God (v.13)
- That the body of Christ attain a unified personality of Christ-likeness (v.13)

How does the Body of Christ grow into Christlikeness?

The context of our text is all about doctrinal truth

"Speaking the truth" in verse 15 means speaking doctrinal truth about God and about Christ and about the gospel.
So all believers minister to the body by speaking doctrinal truth about God and about Christ in love.
