(1) He rescued us from darkness
(2) Put us in a brand new kingdom

(1) A corpse can’t sin
(2) Is this a reality in my life

(1) We are a brand new person
(2) Died with Jesus and raised with Jesus

(1) Old man was crucified
(2) Body of sin done away with, destroyed ( a corpse), sin has NO POWER OVER A DEAD PERSON
(3) No longer a slave
(4) That body is still in the tomb. It is dead

Verses 8-10 – is what happened in the spirit realm the moment you gave your life to Christ

Reckon – consider, imagine, see yourself, draw a conclusion, conviction – I am dead to sin, it has no power over me. I am free

What does this look like in your life? To know you are dead to sin
Who the son sets free is free indeed

When we operate in sin we are operating outside of God’s plan for our life
Choose life not death, choose blessing not curse
