Myth: “I have to feel it."
Reality: It’s a CHOICE, not a feeling.
Myth: “They have to ask…”
Reality: You can FORGIVE ANYONE.
Myth: “They get away with it…”
Reality: You get AWAY FROM IT.
Myth: “Forgive and forget…”
Reality: Forgive and REMEMBER.
Remember:
Holding hurts makes you BITTER.
Releasing them makes you BETTER.
Four steps to forgiveness:
1. IDENTIFY who hurt you
2. NAME what they owe you
3. CANCEL the debt
4. Repeat as OFTEN as necessary
