• Meditation Verse: last week, we discussed 1 Peter 2:24. How has this verse affected your life this week?

Focus Verse - 1 Corinthians 6:11. Have someone read this passage in their best southern gospel pastor impersonation (lots of passion and emphasis!)

** What is your initial internal reaction when someone says, "I need to tell you something?" **

Sean talked about us offering grace to others because Jesus first offered grace to us.

1. Imagine you're one of the disciples when Jesus was crucified. The next day, Peter came to you and admitted that he denied knowing Jesus three times. How would you respond?

Read John 21:15-17.

2. If Jesus hadn't responded with grace to Peter, what effect/s would that have had on Peter's life and future ministry?

3. What are some consequences when we fail to show grace to others?

Read John 8:3-11.

4. ** Do you celebrate when others have been caught in their sin? **

5 Given the way Jesus responded to the woman in this passage, what do you think his response would have been to the Coldplay kiss-cam couple? Is that how you responded when you saw it?

Read Matthew 18:21-22.

6. Have you ever "run out of grace" for someone who repeatedly shared the same sin struggle with you?

7. How would you feel if someone "ran out of grace" for what you were sharing?

Guided Prayer (leader, include the following in your prayer time) - go around the room and have each person say, "God, help me to show grace to others the way you have shown grace to me."

Prayer 4U - have everyone put their name in a hat, then take turns picking a name (can't be your own). Pray for this person this week. If you don't know how to pray for them, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.
