Christ in you…the hope of glory.

You received Him, now continue in Him.

The Lord’s people are anyone who claims and follows Christ as Lord.

Paul’s goal was to present everyone mature in Christ.

Two destructive heresies facing the Colossian Church:
1) Jesus isn’t deep enough. (Jewish Mysticism)
2) Jesus didn’t do enough. (Legalism)

Christ powerfully works in us when we continue in Him. We grow. We change. We become.

Is it Christ, or is it you?

It’s easy to think about your relationship with Jesus as an event instead of a process.

Why do we feel like we're stuck?

We think event; God thinks process.
We think perfection; God wants progress.

Christ in you is both process and event.
