Primary text: Luke 6:6-49
Review:
1.You might not feel like you have much to offer God, but if we trust Jesus with our lives, He can do things with us that we never thought imaginable.
2. Limitations may not be the weakness that we thought they were. Depend on the Great Physician.
3. Jesus is not softening the rules. He is changing the game. Don’t try to put a works patch on a grace garment... it ruins it! Trust in Jesus and His grace!
This Week's Focus: The enemy of God is not "sinners" as the Pharisees believed. Jesus spoke against the false prophets- those who did not represent God well. Whose side are we on? Do we represent God well?
Reflection Questions:
What is one thing that stood out to you from this week’s message?
Do you struggle with loving your enemy?
Can you trust Jesus' battle plan? Do you trust grace?
Do you represent God well? What needs to happen for you to better represent?
What is a good next step for me?
