Just as Caesar is entitled to that which bears his image, we owe our lives to God as His image bearers.
Are you offering all of your life to the Lord, or are you withholding what rightly belongs to Him?
1. We must render unto Caesar.
H.B. Charles - “If Jesus could say render to Caesar what is Caesar’s of a government that will crucify Him in three days, what’s your excuse?”

2. We must render ourselves unto God.
R.C. Sproul - “The Bible knows something of a separation of Church and state insofar as there are two different missions assigned to these institutions. But the Bible knows nothing of the separation of the state from God.”
John MacArthur - “The biblical order is clear: Christ is Lord over Caesar, not vice versa. Christ, not Caesar, is head of the church.”
Every act of biblical submission to authority is a reflection of our ultimate submission to God.
