HEALTH MINISTRIES
Sleep and Your Child’s Behavior
Did you know the amount of sleep your child gets can directly
affect their behavior? Research shows that children who don’t get enough rest are 3–5 times more likely to struggle with attention,
mood, and behavior issues.
Here’s a quick guide to how much sleep kids typically need:
•Infants: 13–18 hours
•Toddlers (1–3 years): 12–14 hours
•Preschoolers (3–5 years): 11–13 hours
•School-aged kids (5–12 years): 10–11 hours
•Teens (12–18 years): 8.5–9.5 hours
Try this: Count backwards from your child’s wake-up time to figure out their ideal bedtime. A little consistency goes a long way—better sleep means a happier, healthier child! https://www.factswithhope.org/ (video 47).

We invite you to a special Women’s Ministries Day program during the second service on Sabbath, September 6. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Patricia Hudson-Henry.
