Are we diligently seeking the presence of the Lord?
Would we recognize the presence of the Lord if He appeared to us?

Do we run to the Lord or from the Lord?

Do we bow to the Lord, or do we bow to the world?

Who do we serve? The Lord, ourselves, or the world?

Are we willing to approach God’s throne of Grace with Confidence as we talk to Him?

Is it ok to question God?

Are we willing to intercede for others?

Are we willing to share the love of God and our testimony with others so they will have every opportunity to repent and turn to Him for salvation?

God responds to our prayers and is fair, thorough, just, as well as merciful in His actions.
Many times, we question God’s goodness and justness when we look at judgment and ask why. However, we must remember that just like Abraham, we don’t know all that God knows and we must trust that He is a God of fairness, justice, and mercy.

God is a righteous judge, but He is also a merciful judge and wants to give people every opportunity to repent and change. We have so much proof all throughout Scripture of God’s mercy, grace, and patience.
Because of Jesus and what He did for us, if we accept His salvation for us and choose to make Him Lord of our life, we too can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence.

God takes no pleasure in the death of any, even if they are wicked.
God is merciful and is patient. He doesn’t want to see anyone perish but He wants all to come to know Him through His Son Jesus and accept His salvation and follow Him.

“If you renounce your life’s direction of sin and rebellion and turn to God, He will give you a new direction, a new understanding of His Word, a new love, and a new power to change. You can begin by faith, trusting in God’s power to change your heart and mind. Then determine to live each day with him in control.” – LASB Ezekiel 18:30-32

Where do we stand with God today?

Would you be considered in the “righteous” group if God was trying to decide whether He could find enough righteous to save our city?

We aren’t righteous, made right, because of any good works we have done or do but only because of what Jesus did for us and because we accept His free gift of salvation and follow Him.

Are we willing to be like Abraham and intercede for others?

Many times, God will spare others because of their proximity to others that love Him and follow Him and because He is patient with them and not wanting them to perish. However, one day His patience will subside, and His justice will prevail.

Let’s make sure we have been willing to share Jesus with others and intercede for them so we can be sure they knew the truth about Jesus and the love of Jesus and were given every opportunity to turn to Him.

God gave Sodom plenty of opportunities to repent and He gives us plenty of opportunities to repent as well. Turn away from your sin today and turn back to Jesus and follow Him.
